The “Speleology and Karstology” journal has the aim to facilitate the development, and disseminate results of, fundamental and applied studies of karst phenomena and natural caves, and facilitate coordination of researches in the field of speleology and karstology. The journal therefore offers the opportunity to all scholars working in these fields to publish their original research articles, review papers, reports and letters on theoretical, methodological, regional and applied aspects of speleology and karstology in an open access and widely distributed peer-reviewed journal at no cost. Articles are published electronically in a pdf format, and an open access is provided to them via the journal website. Individual articles in a current issue are published as soon as they have passed peer-review, editorial and production procedures. Articles are abstracted and indexed in a wide range of bibliography services.
